This is a blog about nothing in particular. I am no one special, other than the fact that we are all special in one way or another. Along the ride we will talk about life in general, motorcycles, music, kids and other fun stuff. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

A little break from the bikes. . .

At 11:49 am on April 11, 2008 Anna Leigh Clauss was born at the Reading Hospital. She was 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 20 inches long. She is very happy to be born as is her mother. She was due on May 1, but she decided to come a little early. She had a rough day, but is sleeping well now.
One of the first pics. She is under the heat lamp and just king of exploring being able to move unrestrictedly.
No, she is not picking her nose.

Ok, enough of this bed thing, I WANT MOMMY!!!!

Ahhhh, Mommy, thats much better. Tara looks good, all in all it went pretty easily, of course I was not the one feeling the pains. She woke up at about 1:30 am feeling pressure and having short contractions about 5 minutes apart. She did work on the computer and stayed up all night, but otherwise was in denial about the whole thing. At 6:00 am she took a shower got dressed and went to work, as did I. I had a meeting and then went back to the high school. At about 9:00 I got a call that she was going to the hospital. They looked at her in triage and said, you are having this baby. She called me and said "come on over". Her mother was already there. (She works at the hospital. She had some real sharp labor pains for about 1/2 hour and then called the nurses and said "I need to push". Soon all sorts of doctors and nurses rushed in, worked in a frenzied manner and said OK, babies here! It was quick and fairly easy, not painless, but easier than Jacklyn. Since the baby was born Tara has had two Motrin and thats it.

Jacklyn is really happy to be a big sister.

Love that smile!

Well thats all for now.
