The Deck

Ok, we have been working on this deck in our minds for 6 years. Now we have actually made significant progress. We built the deck "floating" meaning it is not attached to our house. This is so that 1. We didn't need a permit, and 2. We didn't have to pay for a permit. We did get a permit to build stairs down from the sliding doors, and we will start that later this summer. Today we put on the railing, there are also a couple of pictures of where the steps down to the yard will be. Click on the pictures to see them bigger.
