This is a blog about nothing in particular. I am no one special, other than the fact that we are all special in one way or another. Along the ride we will talk about life in general, motorcycles, music, kids and other fun stuff. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Its been slow.

This week has been slow. The weather has been oppressively hot and so really we have been vegetating in the A/C and not doing much of anything. Last Sunday a fellow Mac-Pac member lead a motorcycle tour of the Covered Bridges of Bucks County. I have done that before, but it got me to thinking about Berks County where I live and in the 2 years I have been here full time I haven't stumbled across any. So I went to the Bookstore and in the midst of spending way to much money on reading material I picked up a good Berks County map. I spent the night pouring over the map looking for covered bridges and I found nine. Mostly in the Eastern part of the County and north, near Kutztown. So I put a route together and now I just need to try it out. One of my rules is NEVER TURN AROUND. But in one case thats impossible because the bridge is on a deadend road, but for all the rest we can ride through and do a loop, or go straight on to the next bridge on the list. Myself and another local member are going to do the ride first to make sure all the bridges are still there and that they haven't crumbled into the stream that they traverse. Should be fun.
