Gassing Day 2013

Last year I was not able to attend gassing day due to my Mother's illness. But this year the weather was stunning if a little crisp. High of maybe 55º but the sun was out and there were very few clouds. Gassing day is an expression started by Peter Egan of Cycle World who explains that it is the first day of the season that you get the bike out and fill it up with gas. This was not really what happened today, as I didn't need gas, but the ride was great and the food was OK. Really it is an excuse to get together with like minded riders and swap lies

 The place was not so crowded when we got there. The red CS was sweet.

 A "new" Triumph, They have been back in business for 20 some years now, but they will always be "new" but that is a good thing, because these run and ride great.

Here is why today was so important, this was Monday just 5 days ago we had 4 inches of the white stuff on my lawn. Glad that is gone for sure!

Turkey Pro 2012

Turkey Pro National - 2011

Another year gone and another Turkey Pro National. This year had an amazing turn out, with tons of vintage and British bikes. There were all sorts of interesting oddballs as well. A 1958 Zundapp, an Indian Vari-car, and a Benelli 6 cylinder to name but a few. Lots of Mac-Paccers as well. I am not labeling the pictures, just enjoy them.
